Full Job Description
Responsible for the administration, security, governance, and operational support of the firms approved AI platforms and services. Ensures AI tools are deployed responsibly, securely, and in alignment with business objectives, compliance requirements, and best practices. Focuses on platform operations, access management, system integrations, and cost oversight for tools including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and custom AI solutions built on Microsoft Azure.

Administration and support of enterprise AI platforms, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and firm-developed AI solutions hosted in Azure, ensuring availability, performance, and compliance with Firm policies.

Works with APIs, connectors, and automation tools to enable secure and approved data access for AI systems while preserving ethical walls, matter confidentiality, and Firm governance requirements.

Assisting with vendor coordination, platform updates, feature enablement, and operational troubleshooting.

Maintaining documentation related to AI platform configuration, access procedures, integrations, and operational standards.

Support integrations between AI platforms and firm systems, including document management, knowledge repositories, collaboration tools, and other approved enterprise applications.

Monitor AI platform usage, performance, and costs; assisting with cost tracking, reporting, and allocation across departments or practice groups.

Manage access controls, permissions, and usage policies for AI platforms in coordination with Information Security, Risk & Conflicts, and Identity teams.

Implement role based access control, audit logging, and data protection controls.

Configure environments, resource groups, and service integrations supporting AI workloads.

Analyze usage metrics and performance data to recommend optimizations.

Provide Tier 2/3 support for AI solutions, troubleshooting issues and resolving incidents.

Manage updates, patches, and version upgrades for AI platforms.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues.

Works, as required, at different shifts outside of stated regular office hours.

Attends training sessions concerning skill development; travels to these sessions as required.

Provides management with periodic status updates and project reports.

May be required to periodically provide after-hours support to customers throughout the firm.

Communicates courteously and professionally by phone and in person, using good communication skills.

Ensures that employees follow adequate security guidelines and policies while carrying out all duties.

Operates office equipment such as phones, calculators and photocopy machines.

Maintains a neat and orderly workplace.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required, with five or more years of experience in systems administration, platform support, or enterprise IT operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience administering cloud or SaaS platforms in an enterprise environment required. Strong familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint, Power Platform) preferred. Experience supporting integrations, access management, and cost tracking for enterprise applications strongly desired. Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus.Advanced level technical expertise in the areas of document management, systems administration, database administration and operating system functionality. High level of knowledge of network operations, system administration/management, applications administration/management and PC hardware and software. Proven skills in maintaining computer system network and application or hardware platforms in a system administration and system management capacity. Understanding of end user needs to increase user efficiency.
