Duties

Help

  • Develop AI literacy to promote workforce readiness.
  • Integrate AI into curricula to prepare future-ready learners.
  • Monitor and report on AI implementation progress to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Train educators to utilize AI to enhance instructional activities.
  • Educate and train on data privacy and transparency for stakeholders.
  • Develop AI training program for education curricula.
  • Streamline and automate AI operational workflow to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Establish successful metrics for AI adoption across the Agency.
  • Collaborate with IT partners to ensure AI systems are compliant with Agency policies.

  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Direct deposit of pay is required.
  • One year trial or probationary period may be required.
  • Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
  • This position is a Testing Designated position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. You will be required to sign a DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
  • This position is designated Special Sensitive (Top Secret/SCI) and requires a Tier 5 investigation favorably adjudicated.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. One year of specialized experience which includes: Implement AI strategies. Enhance workflows to optimize processes. Integrate AI into teaching and learning. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Education and Training
  • Program Management


Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
