AI Software Engineer / AI ExpertAbout the Role
We're looking for a seasoned AI engineer to lead the development of an LLM-driven process for onboarding loan deals onto a new platform. Today, teams manually review 400-500-page credit agreements, extract key terms, and configure legacy systems by hand. You'll build the solution that replaces that work by using existing LLMs to extract terms from credit agreements, turn them into executable code, and run that code on the blockchain. It needs to be accurate and to work at scale across thousands of agreements.
What You'll Do- Design and build production LLM pipelines for document extraction, transformation, and code generation
- Develop orchestration, prompts/harnesses, validation, and governance processes
- Tackle accuracy, non-determinism, and reliability challenges head-on
- Serve as the team's LLM expert and coach engineers on effective LLM integration
What You Bring- Deep, hands-on experience building with LLMs in production (not just using AI coding assistants like Claude, Codex, or Windsurf)
- Proven track record building LLM pipelines, workflows, and orchestration
- Experience managing LLM limitations, including accuracy, hallucination, and output variability
- Strong Python skills
- 10-15+ years of engineering experience (exceptional candidates with less will be considered)
- Ability to clearly explain past LLM projects, your specific contributions, and how you solved hard problems
Nice to Have- Banking or loan/credit experience
- MCP or similar emerging AI technologies
- Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Experience with document chunking, extraction, validation, and testing
Note: This role is about harnessing existing LLMs, not training or building new models.
