Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in software development with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Go, Java, Python, C/C , C#, Objective-C, JavaScript, or Kotlin.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Strong problem solving-skills and understanding of algorithms and their level of complexity.
  • Strong software and systems troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the architectural design and implementation of a unified automated application runner for Android XR AppCompat.
  • Build scalable application execution frameworks that run on physical devices, emulators, and cloud-hosted environments.
  • Collaborate with Android and Android XR platform team to develop new capabilities to improve the application experiences in XR.
  • Engage directly with third-party developers to get feedback, fix bugs, help design solutions.
  • Design, scale, and deliver an automated application evaluation framework using intelligent crawlers, computer vision and Large Language Model (LLMs) to detect spatial layout issues, rendering distortions, overlapping UI elements, and XR-specific input collision problems.
