Full Job Description
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Federal data-service programs by analyzing business requirements, data requirements, system capabilities, and emerging Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with Federal stakeholders, program managers, data engineers, AI/ML teams, and software development teams to define, implement, validate, and improve data-driven solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, technical, and data requirements for enterprise or Federal data-service solutions.
  • Evaluate Large Language Models, Generative AI, AI agents, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI-enabled applications.
  • Apply data governance, data quality, data security, privacy, access-control, and Federal information-management practices.
  • Analyze system integrations and data interfaces, including APIs, ETL/ELT processes, cloud-based data platforms, databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Develop and execute system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data and AI-enabled applications.
  • Create and maintain business requirements documents, functional requirements documents, use cases, user stories, process diagrams, data dictionaries, interface specifications, test plans, test cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Identify opportunities for Generative AI, intelligent automation, data analytics, and workflow optimization within Federal business processes.
  • Support delivery using Agile/Scrum, the software development life cycle, DevSecOps, and Federal IT project-delivery methodologies.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, requirements management, or technology consulting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and AI concepts into clear business requirements for technical and non-technical Federal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical documentation, executive briefings, program status reports, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, data visualization, or other analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with Federal AI governance, responsible AI, model risk management, and AI security requirements.
  • Experience working with large-scale technical, engineering, geospatial, transportation, infrastructure, or environmental datasets.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree.
