Full Job Description
The Position

Our organization, as part of PT Strategy (PTY), is responsible for defining our future state Pharma Technical (PT) strategy to support and enable our overarching Pharma Vision. Within this ecosystem, our team serves as the innovation engine dedicated to modernizing how we understand, execute, and optimize our global manufacturing and supply chain processes.

As the AI & Process Intelligence Lead, you will fundamentally shift how Roche manages organizational complexity by treating it as a data problem. Moving away from manual, human-heavy process mapping workshops, you will lead the strategic development and deployment of our Agentic AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) diagnostic engines. By leveraging advanced process mining and intelligence tools, your team will uncover process drift, identify bottlenecks, and flag compliance deviations, ultimately driving the AI-enabled transformation of our global technical network.

The Oppurtunity:
  • Driving AI-Enabled Transformation: Champion business transformation strategies to radically simplify while mitigating processing risks in a highly regulated environment.
  • Complex Data Ingestion & Requirement Mapping: Partner with business stakeholders to gather complex data requirements. You will design diagnostic models capable of ingesting and interpreting highly regulated, unstructured pharmaceutical text.
  • Intelligence Solution Design: Architect and validate intelligence-focused solutions. You will oversee process mining architectures, NLP ingestion scopes, and implement robust "Human-in-the-Loop" quality assurance frameworks.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Serve as the subject matter expert for end-to-end AI project implementation. You will guide and mentor a diverse, cross-functional team of data scientists, developers, and technology professionals, helping them resolve complex algorithmic and integration challenges.

Who You Are

You are a visionary technical leader who excels at bridging the gap between cutting-edge artificial intelligence and highly regulated pharmaceutical operations.

  • Experienced Technical Leader: You bring 10 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Process Mining, with a proven track record of deploying algorithmic solutions, including at least 3 years matrixed leadership.
  • Deep Domain Expertise: You possess a strong background in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering, backed by hands-on working knowledge of NLP, LLMs, Process Mining tools (e.g., Celonis), and enterprise system integration (ASPIRE/SAP).
  • Strategic Translator: You excel at engaging non-technical stakeholders, translating complex AI capabilities into clear, actionable business value, and facilitating design discussions that solve real operational bottlenecks.
  • GxP Navigator: You thrive in complex, matrixed environments and possess the rigor required to manage multiple technical initiatives and ensure successful algorithmic deployment within a highly regulated (GxP) landscape.
  • Values-Driven Innovator: You foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. You bring your authentic self to work and deeply align with Roche's core values of Integrity, Courage, and Passion.
