Agent Gateway and AI Experience - Platform and Integration Engineer
Experience: 8-12 years
Role Summary
The Platform and Integration Engineer will build governed model-routing services, agent-to-agent and Model Context Protocol connectivity, SDK migration utilities, reusable enterprise integrations, and automated controls for production AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build model gateways, intelligent routing services, and reusable integration components.
Implement agent-to-agent and MCP-based connectivity patterns.
Develop SDKs, migration utilities, APIs, adapters, and reference implementations.
Integrate authentication, authorization, secrets management, policy enforcement, and audit controls.
Build automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and release controls.
Implement telemetry, tracing, metrics, logging, and operational dashboards.
Support API lifecycle management, compatibility, versioning, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with architecture, security, platform, and application teams.
Troubleshoot integration, scalability, latency, reliability, and production issues.
Required Skills
Python and object-oriented software development.
REST APIs, API gateways, web services, and SDK design.
MCP, agent interoperability, and integration architecture.
Authentication, authorization, identity, and policy controls.
CI/CD, automated testing, and source-code management.
Observability, tracing, logging, and production support.
Containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native engineering.
Secure software-development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Experience with LLM gateways, agent platforms, service mesh, or API-management products.
Cloud, Kubernetes, security, or API certification.
