Job summary

The Customer Content Services (CCS) team seeks an Impact Analyst to join our organization as we transition to a data-first approach. The rapidly evolving data landscape necessitates an adaptable and risk-tolerant individual to assist in leveraging data within our vision, with a focus on data privacy as we implement internal solutions.

What you will do:

  • Establish Measurement Standards: Create and maintain a standardized metrics dictionary or taxonomy, ensuring all efforts use consistent definitions, calculation methodologies, and reporting hierarchies for core business metrics.
  • Conduct Deep-Dive Diagnostic Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis on large datasets to diagnose the root causes of underperformance, metric variances, or process failures.
  • Identify Explanatory Factors: Utilize techniques like correlation analysis and regression modeling to identify and quantify which business factors or process variables are driving key metric movements (both positive and negative).
  • Uncover Hidden Trends and Anomalies: Systematically explore data to spot emerging trends, sudden shifts, and anomalous data points that may represent either a major opportunity or a critical operational risk.
  • Quantify Scenario Impact: Design and execute simulations or scenario analysis to estimate the potential impact of strategic decisions, system changes, or external market forces before they are implemented.
  • Drive Actionable Recommendations: Move beyond simply reporting data; formulate concrete, prioritized, and actionable recommendations based on analytical insights to directly influence strategic roadmaps and resource allocation.
  • Monitor Global Data & AI Regulation: Monitor current and anticipated AI data governance and privacy mandates across key regions (e.g., EMEA's data sovereignty and AI Act II), translating regulatory changes into actionable compliance roadmaps.


What you will bring :

  • Demonstrated solid analytical and statistical proficiencies, with proven experience in extracting actionable insights from diverse data sources, encompassing both quantitative assessments and qualitative inputs.
  • Solid reporting experience and use of tools like Tableau, SFDC, Jira, and the Google suite.
  • Ability to synthesize and deliver information to a variety of audiences, including executives and other business leaders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate discussions.
  • Familiarity with the Red Hat solutions portfolio, technical support delivery and open source software development processes is a plus.
  • Motivation and curiosity, with a passion for data analytics and problem solving, coupled with a customer-centric mindset.
  • The ability to thrive in a multicultural, collaborative, and open team environment, often involving shared ownership of project deliverables.


The salary range for this position is $86,770.00 - $138,850.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
