The Opportunity
As an AI Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Advisory practice, you will leverage advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You will inspire others to follow your vision, driving business growth and shaping the direction of client engagements.
In this role at PwC, you will apply data, algorithms, and software engineering to build and deploy software and platform systems that create Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning-based solutions at scale. Your work will involve designing AI systems, data wrangling, and software implementation to enable the AI models to be useful and scalable. You will be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. You will cultivate the potential in others and actively collaborate across the PwC Network, leveraging our collective strength.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design and deployment of AI systems to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Overseeing the development of scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions using advanced technologies
- Driving business growth by identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successes
- Mentoring and guiding teams in AI engineering to foster innovation and creativity
- Collaborating with clients to shape the direction of AI-driven engagements and solutions
- Promoting technological advances to create environments where people and technology thrive together
- Managing complex data analysis and integration to support AI model implementation
- Utilizing programming languages such as Python and Java to enhance AI system capabilities
- Implementing data infrastructure and quality measures to support robust AI solutions
- Encouraging systemic thinking and rapid experimentation to solve complex problems creatively
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Computer Science/Information Systems, Engineering
- At least one of the following: Certifications aligned to data engineering, machine learning, and cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or related data and AI credentials
- Leading AI implementation projects with a focus on innovation
- Utilizing advanced machine learning libraries like TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn
- Developing complex data models and pipelines for analytics
- Excelling in programming languages such as Python and C++
- Driving thought leadership in artificial intelligence and data science

Job Posting End Date
The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
