Full Job Description
Job Description As IFS Cloud Architect with Rockwell Automation, you will have expertise in AI solutions to lead the design, integration, and evolution of enterprise solutions across asset-intensive and service-driven operations. You will define end-to-end architecture, promote AI-driven outcomes, and ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready IFS implementations. You'll report to the ERP Manager and work with the IFS Product Owner, Project Implementation Team, and important business stakeholders. You'll partner with other teams to analyze requirements, create technical solutions, support daily operations, and improve across the ERP platform. This is remote based role with location either in the US or Ontario, Canada. Primary Responsibilities: IFS Solution Architecture • You will lead the end-to-end application architecture for IFS Cloud across Projects, FSM, Resource Management, Manufacturing and Finance. • Define and govern IFS Cloud reference architectures, design patterns, and guardrails, aligned with Evergreen and SaaS operating principles. • Promote a configuration-first mindset, minimizing customization and ensuring long-term maintainability. • Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable IFS Cloud solutions. • Define environment strategies across DEV, TEST, and PROD, supporting secure delivery and operational stability. • Design extension strategies using standard IFS capabilities (APIs, Business Events, projections, external services). • Ensure non-functional requirements, performance, availability, security, and resilience are built into solution designs. AI Capabilities • You will architect and enable AI use cases, including embedded IFS AI offerings: • Service planning and scheduling optimization • Demand forecasting and anomaly detection • Design AI-augmented business processes, promoting AI insights directly into operational workflows • Ensure people trust AI recommendations through human-in-the-loop decisioning. • Define feedback loops to monitor outcomes and improve AI-enabled capabilities. Integration Architecture • You'll architect end-to-end integration solutions between IFS Cloud and upstream CRM platforms, such as lead-to-order, service demand, and contract lifecycle. These solutions will ensure clean handoffs into IFS for execution, and they will also integrate with downstream billing, invoicing, and financial systems. • You will design event-triggered integration architectures using IFS Business Events as the primary mechanism for integrations. • Ensure systems integrate through the common model rather than point-to-point mappings, improving scalability and maintainability. • Promote loose coupling between IFS Cloud and external systems to support Evergreen upgrades and platform evolution. • Support enterprise reporting, and advanced analytics by ensuring data accuracy and lineage. • Collaborate with analytics and data platform teams to align IFS data structures with enterprise BI, AI, and machine learning initiatives. The Essentials : You will Have: • Bachelor's degree in relevant field. • Legal authorization to work in the US is required - We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. The Preferred: You might also have: • 5+ years of experience with full-cycle IFS Cloud implementations, upgrades, or migrations. • Deep IFS functional and technical knowledge with an understanding of AI, data architecture, and cloud platforms-being a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership. • Define architecture standards, including security, error handling, retries and monitoring. • Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and data privacy requirements, including role-based access and secure message handling. • Provide architectural oversight for integration issues during implementations, upgrades, and production support. • Design identity and access integrations using Azure AD, SSO, OAuth, and role-based access controls. • Ensure integration designs align with IFS financial, project, and service processes, minimizing data duplication and reconciliation effort. • Define integration patterns that support near-real-time and asynchronous processing, based on business criticality and transaction volumes. What We Offer: • Health Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision • 401k • Paid Time off • Parental and Caregiver Leave • Flexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life • To learn more about our benefits package, please visit at www.raquickfind.com For this role, the total target compensation is from $106,480.00 - $159,720.00 USD Annual for US Based candidates and $100,960.00 - $151,440.00 CAD Annual for Canada based candidates.
