AI Engineer
Job DescriptionAI Engineer Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated
AI Engineer to support the development of modern applications and Generative AI solutions. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates who have completed internships, academic projects, or hands-on experience in software development, AI-powered applications, or automation solutions. The candidate will work closely with experienced engineers to build, test, and maintain applications while gaining exposure to emerging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and maintain web, desktop, or enterprise applications.
- Assist in building and integrating AI-powered features using Generative AI technologies.
- Develop and consume REST APIs to support application functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and software testing activities.
- Collaborate with team members in an agile development environment.
- Support automation and productivity initiatives through scripting and workflow improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience, including internships, co-op programs, academic projects, or research experience.
- Exposure to software application development or Generative AI solutions through internships, projects, hackathons, or coursework.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and problem-solving techniques.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Technical Skills- Python or Java
- SQL
- Basic understanding of REST APIs
- Git/version control
- Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications- Internship or project experience in:
- Generative AI applications
- AI chatbots or virtual assistants
- Application development (web, desktop, or mobile)
- API integration and automation
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Basic knowledge of databases and Linux environments.
Experience- 0-2 years of experience
- Internship, research, capstone project, or co-op experience in Application Development and/or Generative AI preferred.
- Fresh graduates with relevant project experience are encouraged to apply.
