Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
We are seeking an AI-DLC Engineer with experience using AI-DLC to design and develop GIS solution. The ideal candidate can translate business and geospatial requirements into working GIS solutions, use AI-DLC methods and tools to accelerate software delivery, collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams, and improve reliability, scalability, and usability throughout the solution lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Working knowledge of AI-DLC concepts and their application to software engineering delivery, including AI-assisted development, testing, deployment support, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Experience with design, build, and implementation of GIS software components, services, and applications using Esri technologies and AI-DLC-enabled development tools such as Karo and Copilot.
• Experience implementing Karo and Copilot integration patterns such as APIs, orchestration workflows, embedded application experiences, or process automation.
• Experience using Karo and Copilot to support AI-DLC-based software engineering delivery, including code generation, testing, documentation, and implementation acceleration.
• Experience using AI-DLC practices to improve engineering velocity, code quality, documentation quality, and maintainability across GIS solution delivery.
• Experience troubleshooting issues related to AI-generated outputs, workflow orchestration, model behavior, and production integration.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, API design, observability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms and AI/ML services such as AWS
GIS Experience:
• Required hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying GIS solutions using Esri technologies in development, test, and production environments.
• Strong experience with Esri platforms and tools such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, web mapping, feature services, spatial data management, and application configuration or extension.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience building production-ready integrations, services, or web applications.
• Experience implementing GIS integration patterns such as APIs, event-driven workflows, data synchronization, enterprise application integration, or business process automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and their use in hosting, integrating, or operating GIS solutions.
• Develop and maintain geospatial data workflows, map services, feature services, and supporting backend processes needed for production-ready GIS solutions.
• Working knowledge of version control, testing practices, CI/CD concepts, and production support for software solutions.
Salary Range: $130,000- $140,000 a year
