Job Summary

The AI & Automation Consulting Specialist will assess enterprise operational processes, automation assets, technical documentation, source code, and application environments to identify opportunities for AI-powered knowledge discovery, process improvement, and intelligent automation. The role will conduct technical discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and assessments; evaluate AI and automation platforms; and provide practical recommendations covering solution feasibility, implementation approach, effort estimates, and high-level cost considerations. The specialist will develop actionable roadmaps to improve enterprise knowledge discovery, automation effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess and document current operational processes and existing automation assets to make them searchable, reusable, and accessible as enterprise knowledge resources.
• Analyze and organize technical documentation where information may be fragmented, outdated, or unreliable.
• Review source code repositories and recommend approaches for making source code searchable and usable as an internal knowledge asset.
• Evaluate operational and test automation capabilities and identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and additional automation.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and Q&A workshops to understand current-state systems, challenges, and business objectives.
• Analyze enterprise environments consisting of backend databases, frontend applications, APIs, and external interfaces to identify automation and knowledge management opportunities.
• Recommend practical AI-powered search, knowledge management, and automation solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Assess the applicability and value of AI tools and platforms including Microsoft Copilot, Kilo, Claude, and similar technologies.
• Provide consulting recommendations covering solution feasibility, implementation approach, effort estimates, and high-level cost considerations.
• Develop findings, recommendations, and actionable roadmaps to improve enterprise knowledge discovery, automation effectiveness, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, solution assessment, enterprise architecture, automation, or related technology advisory roles.
• 3+ years of experience with AI-powered enterprise search, knowledge management, information discovery, or similar solutions.
• 4+ years of experience working with enterprise applications, including frontend and backend systems.
• 3+ years of experience reviewing, assessing, or implementing operational automation and/or test automation solutions.
• Experience evaluating and recommending AI, automation, and productivity tools for enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of source code management, application architecture, and software development practices.
• Ability to navigate environments involving backend databases, frontend applications, APIs, and external integrations.
• Experience conducting technical Q&A sessions, workshops, and discovery assessments with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to assess solution feasibility, recommend implementation approaches, and provide rough-order-of-magnitude cost and effort estimates.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, Kilo, or other Generative AI platforms.
• Experience with enterprise search technologies, knowledge repositories, or semantic search solutions.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or software engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with system integration, API architectures, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Prior consulting experience delivering technology assessments, automation strategy engagements, or digital transformation initiatives.
