Thales is looking to hire an AI Automation Architect, Sales Operations to lead the strategy, architecture, and hands-on development of AI-driven innovations that transform how Sales Operations operates at scale. In this position, the role will be responsible for designing and deploying AI agents, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation solutions that streamline business processes, improve data quality, enhance forecasting and reporting, and increase productivity across the Sales Operations organization. This role will help transition manual and repetitive operational activities into scalable, AI-enabled capabilities, allowing teams to focus on higher-value business outcomes. Blending AI product thinking, solution architecture, process optimization, and hands-on development, this role focuses on practical AI adoption across the Thales Cyber Security Products Sales Operations organization. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to automate work, improve access to trusted information, simplify decision-making, and drive measurable operational efficiencies through AI.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Define and own the Sales Operations AI and Automation roadmap by identifying, prioritizing, and delivering high-value AI use cases aligned with business priorities, operational efficiency goals, and user needs.

  • Analyze existing Sales Operations processes and redesign high-volume manual activities into automated, agent-led workflows that improve scalability, consistency, and productivity.

  • Architect and implement AI agents, copilots, conversational experiences, and intelligent automation solutions integrated with core business systems, including Salesforce, Clari, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Certinia, and related platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, data maintenance, data enrichment, and operational governance through AI-powered automation and monitoring.

  • Partner with Sales Operations functions, regional sales leaders, finance stakeholders, data teams, IT, Security, and the central AI infrastructure team to validate current-state processes and design future-state AI-enabled operating models.

  • Design and implement applied AI solution patterns including agentic architectures, Retrieval-Augmented

  • Generation (RAG), orchestration frameworks, evaluation pipelines, and intelligent automation using governed enterprise data sources.

  • Implement AI guardrails including quality controls, privacy, compliance, security, responsible AI standards, and solution monitoring to ensure trustworthy and scalable deployment.

  • Drive AI adoption through structured enablement, training, documentation, and rollout plans, serving as a trusted advisor on AI capabilities and opportunities across Sales Operations.

  • Establish success metrics tied to efficiency gains, process cycle time reduction, quality improvement, user adoption, operational scalability, and business impact.

  • Implement usage, performance, and cost tracking for AI agents and automation solutions while providing regular impact reporting to leadership.

  • Continuously refine AI solutions based on business feedback, usage patterns, operational requirements, and evolving technology capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology related field or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Data and Analytics, AI

  • •Solid understanding of modern AI system concepts including memory management, planning, tool orchestration, model evaluation, guardrails, monitoring, and responsible AI practices

  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern application development technologies including APIs, Angular, React, and TypeScript

  • Automation, or related enterprise technology roles

  • Proven experience designing AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation solutions, or agentic processes that augment or replace manual business activities

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents using tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI, LangChain, Mindflow, Power Platform, or similar frameworks

  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and business process automation

  • Experience working with Sales Operations processes, CRM platforms, forecasting tools, reporting systems, and operational workflows

  • Knowledge of enterprise AI governance, data security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI principles

  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, system administrators, and enterprise platform owners

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, remove roadblocks, and drive initiatives from concept through production deployment

Total Target Cash (TTC) 85,034.00 - 168,266.00 USD Annual
