Minimum Qualifications- Identify, evaluate and prioritize opportunities where AI and intelligent automation can improve work processes, reduce manual effort, enhance service quality and improve public experiences.
- Partner with IST teams and county departments to define problems, desired outcomes, readiness factors, success measures and approaches for pilots or broader initiatives.
- Analyze existing business processes and help design improved workflows using AI, automation, low-code platforms, integrations and modern digital-work tools.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, develop solution concepts, create requirements and backlog items, and collaborate with technical teams to determine practical implementation approaches.
- Support AI-enabled improvements involving digital services, forms, workflows, process intelligence and employee productivity.
- Help build countywide readiness through demonstrations, workshops, office hours, guidance, communications and practical playbooks.
- Provide guidance on responsible use, limitations, human review and the organizational changes associated with AI and automation.
- Measure and communicate outcomes such as time saved, improved turnaround times, adoption patterns, service-quality gains and user-experience improvements.
- Collaborate with eGovernment Services colleagues, IST leadership, cybersecurity, privacy, records management, service management, vendors and departmental stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure, accessible, governed and supportable.
- Stay current with emerging AI and automation capabilities and assess their suitability for county use.
- Perform other work as required.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business, public administration, communications, analytics or a related field; minimum of five years working experience, developing and deploying web-based solutions to include significant professional experience in AI enablement, intelligent automation, workflow automation, digital transformation, business systems analysis, low-code development or a similar technology-focused role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Experience working with business stakeholders to identify needs, shape practical solutions and support organizational change.
- Applied knowledge of artificial intelligence, generative AI, intelligent automation, workflow tools and low-code or no-code platforms.
- Understanding of process analysis, service design, workflow redesign and practical technology-adoption methods.
- Strong facilitation, collaboration and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain emerging technologies clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to balance innovation with security, privacy, governance, accessibility, supportability and measurable value.
- Ability to organize multiple initiatives and keep work aligned with organizational priorities and available capacity.
- Ability to learn emerging capabilities quickly and evaluate whether they are appropriate for county use.
- Public-sector or local government experience is preferred.
