Full Job Description
About the role:

Blackbaud is seeking an AI Adoption Specialist to join our Enterprise Technology Group's Change Management team. In this role, you will help employees successfully adopt AI-powered tools, workflows, and ways of working across a designated business area.

You will partner with product managers, AI engineers, business leaders, and frontline employees to ensure new AI capabilities are understood, embraced, and effectively incorporated into daily work. Using proven change management practices, you will assess impacts, prepare leaders, create employee communications and training resources, and measure adoption outcomes.

What you'll be doing:
  • Build and run change management plans internally for new AI capabilities, including assessing who's affected, planning how to engage them, shaping communications, and setting clear milestones to confirm teams are ready.
  • Create simple, practical support materials (job aids, guides, quick-reference resources, etc) that help teams use new AI enabled workflows effectively.
  • Partner with product owners, AI engineers, functional leaders, and frontline teams to understand what is changing and what people need to be ready for change.
  • Apply structured change, communication and training methodologies to all programs.
  • Consult and coach partner enablement teams through communication and education efforts.
  • Engage and recruit leaders as "change champions" to help build a network of employees who can model and support adoption with their peers.
  • Identify risks, resistance, confusion, or readiness gaps early and help create practical plans to address them.
  • Define and track adoption metrics that show whether teams are truly changing how they work, not just whether they have access to a tool.
  • Share what you learn with the wider Change Management team so our approach keeps improving across business areas.

What we'll want you to have:
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, organizational change, communications, training, employee enablement, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology, digital transformation, software implementation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess organizational impacts, develop change strategies, engage stakeholders, and drive behavior change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating communications, training materials, and executive presentations.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and building alignment across teams without direct authority.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and business teams and translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-assisted tools, including an understanding of responsible AI practices and employee adoption challenges.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments where priorities and delivery plans can evolve.
  • Prosci, CCMP, or other change management certification preferred.

The starting base pay is $87,700.00 to $114,200.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.

Benefits Include:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Remote-flexible workforce
  • Wellness Programs
  • 401(k) program with employer match
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Generous Parental Leave
  • Donations for Doers
  • Pet insurance, legal and identity protection
  • Tuition reimbursement program
