Responsibilities

What you will do:

TheAir Handling UnitProjectEngineeris a recognizedsubject matter expertwith a focus on the Data Center vertical market.Performsafull range offield commercial andtechnicalsupport functionswhile also supporting the needs of the product management team.

1. Providecommercial,competitive,andtechnical application support to the field salesorganization on all aspects ofAir Handling Unitswithjust generaldirection.

2. Works witha small team of technical employees to providearticulate resolutions to the field selling organization requests for AHU project support with a strong emphasis on Basisof Design.

3. Provide application trainingandProjectManagement, as required, on Air HandlingSystemsfor the field sales organization.

4.Trackand assist in the management of Air Handling projects from selection through shipment.

5. Support Customer Visits (factory tours) as necessary.

6. Participate in testing ofAHU selection and pricingsoftware.

7. Work with the Field Sales organization, manufacturing, engineering, and Customer Service to resolve Air Handling Unit order issues.

8. Work with engineering to develop cost effectiveresolutions to uniqueAir Handling Unitapplications.

9. Assist Airside Technical Service with field application issues as necessary.

10.Develop technical documents to support field sales on various areas of air handling application as necessary.

11. Work withProduct Management and Marketing to developselection and pricingsoftware requirements as necessary.

12. Determine best techniques/procedures/theories and apply them to analysis, design and/or research of air handling products.

13. Use complex problem-solving techniques requiring regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

14. Review and analyze engineering rules and documents as necessary.

15. Recommend cost savings and value engineering alternatives for Air Handling Unitsand systems.

16. Provide technical direction for other engineers,drafters,or technicians on specific work assignments.

17. Be proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support Air Handling products.

18. Be proficient atextrapolating ideas into product requirements and apply the philosophy of concurrent engineering with manufacturing process.

19. Conduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications as necessary.

20. Strive for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.

21. Support product management in the tracking ofrevenue, costs, profitability, warranty, and all other relevant Key Performance Indicators.

22.Support promotional activities in industry and professional forums, including attendance ofindustry conferences.

SALARY RANGE: $76,000 - $114,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
