IPA requires an expert scientist for the AGS project. Specific duties to be performed by the contractor are listed below.
Duties include:
The Chief Scientist will provide day-to-day technical management of the Nonconventional
Exploitation Factors Data System (NEFDS) to include:
• Translate existing requirements of users into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria based on an understanding of the different physical phenomenology's being exploited.
• Collect and analyze ground truth data to determine the validity and accuracy of NEFDS and Radiance non-literal exploitation tools.
• Participate in data analysis TEMs along with NRFDS and/or Radiance contractors and NGA scientists to determine the validity of laboratory collected material signatures and
spectral/atmospheric models.

• Release planning events.
• Backlog grooming.
• Sprint planning meetings.
• Scrums.
• Working software demos.
• Acceptance criteria sign-off.
• Interface with NEFDS and Radiance scientists (including the Radiance Chief Scientist) to support the development of novel concepts for new non-literal exploitation capabilities inspired by the introduction of new sensors, mission partner products, and new research from NGA scientists, the IC community, and the broader scientific community.
• Prepare documentation required during the entire product development process including pre[1]solicitation (requirements documents, program briefing materials, white papers on new scientific concepts for non-literal exploitation tools) solicitation (RFP documents, source selection advisor reports), execution (Task orders, task order evaluation reports, scientific white papers, briefing packages, RFC documentation).
