Full Job Description
As a member of Treasury, Liquidity & Forecasting Technology's (TLFT's) Strategic AI, Automation and Productivity Programs team, this individual will support shaping, coordinating, planning and tracking AI, automation and productivity solutions across the Treasury, Liquidity and Forecasting domains. The focus of this role is on helping driving cross-functional collaboration, adherence to the organization's AI standards and governance, and engagement with the Tech, Finance and Enterprise partners.

This person is self-motivated and takes initiative to partner closely with technology senior leads, Finance business stakeholders, Enterprise AI governance bodies, and other contributors - ensuring that AI solutions are shaped jointly within Technology, aligned to the latest organizational guidance.

Responsibilities:
  • Helps to develop detailed AI/automation initiatives work plans, schedules; project metrics and status reports. Facilitates daily/agile meetings. Work with technical leads to identify and resolve technical roadblocks and challenges.
  • Interfaces with Finance, Technology and other senior stakeholders, and sustains a regular rhythm - preparing materials, capturing outcomes, and keeping stakeholders informed of priorities and progress. Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments that hinder team progress, escalating to leadership when necessary
  • Contributes ideas and groundwork to improve processes, how the team collaborates, reuses assets and governs AI work, and promotes adherence to the organization's evolving AI guidance so teams deliver consistent, compliant solutions.
  • Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards. Maintains an AI/automation use-case solutions inventory, documents action items, follows up with responsible parties, and chases resolution across Tech teams to keep commitments and initiatives on track; surfaces dependencies, risks and progress to support timely delivery.
  • Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership. Captures business needs, supports the mapping of ideas to potential solution pathways, and engages the right SMEs so promising ideas progress into actionable solutions.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives. Prepares for and follows up on engagement with Enterprise partners and AI governance bodies, so alignment on architecture, patterns and governance is confirmed early and tracked to closure.
  • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience, with hands-on knowledge and experience on Agile project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions and support engagement with senior stakeholders; strong track record of building relationships and increasing collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various Agile methodologies
  • Financial Services / Banking experience desirable.
  • Prior hands-on experience with AI solution delivery is desirable


Education:
  • Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project management / Scrum master certification desirable.
