RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration Business Unit (BU) and the Threat and Advanced Simulations Development (TASD) program has an exciting career opportunity for anAgile Product Owner - Level 3to join our team of qualified and diverse leaders at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Position Overview: As part of the Threat and Advanced Simulation Development (TASD) program, the Threat Products and Services (TPS) team offers opportunities to support the U.S. Missile Defense System through the development of Modeling and Simulation applications used in training and exercises, concept evaluation, developmental engineering, testing and verification, and assessment. This position requires a Agile Product Owner experienced in Agile software development processes, tools, and environments.The Product Owner will have experience in requirements development and backlog management to support the Missile Defense Agencys Enterprise Threat Engineering organization. Essential Functions: Will guide and support a team of systems engineers, analysts, test engineers, and software developers to plan, design, develop, test, and document feature capabilities. Primary responsibilities include developing requirements, prioritizing the team backlog, and documenting capabilities. Additionally, this position will require coordination across operational, simulation, and user community to design and deploy new features and enhancements to new and existing applications. Secondary responsibilities will include interfacing with TASD/TPS customers and presenting technical briefings to TPS leadership and stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and5 years of related work experience, or a Masters Degree in STEM and 3 years of related work experience, or 1 year of related work experience with a PhD. Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products Experience in maintaining team backlog Experience in Agile Software Development Methodologies Experience in development and maintaining requirements and technical documentation Basic understanding of object-oriented software development Able to prioritize, execute, and delegate tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Must have strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Applicantsmust have a current active in-scope U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance at the time of applicationwhich is required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Agile software development methodologies including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) SAFe or other Agile Product Owner certification Experience in Atlassian Tool Suite Knowledge / experience in missile defense systems and modeling and simulation development Current active in-scope U.S. Government issued Top Secret Clearance. Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
