Full Job Description
What you're applying for

We're looking for an Agency Partner Manager to help us scale Lemonade's presence in the independent agency channel. You'll sit within our distribution organization, owning the full lifecycle of agency partnerships - from prospecting and onboarding through performance management and growth - while working closely with internal teams to make sure our agent experience keeps getting better.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
In this role you'll
  • Develop and execute an agency expansion strategy that drives sustainable growth across aggregators, networks, and wholesalers - both existing partners and new ones
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle from prospecting through onboarding, performance management, and troubleshooting
  • Lead product expansion efforts across new and existing agency partnerships, identifying opportunities and seeing them through
  • Use CRM tools and Looker to track engagement, analyze performance, and keep decision-making grounded in data
  • Monitor market trends and competitor moves, surfacing insights that drive meaningful improvements to our channel strategy
  • Collaborate closely with Actuarial, CX, Insurance Product, Operations, and Underwriting to align strategies and get the most out of every partnership

What you'll need
  • 3+ years of experience in the personal lines industry, with a proven track record in business development - experience in the Texas market is a strong plus
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field
  • A hands-on owner mentality - no task is too big or too small when there's a goal worth hitting
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with a natural ability to build trust with external partners and internal stakeholders alike
  • Strong analytical instincts and the ability to turn data into decisions that move the business forward
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a commitment to learning how it's reshaping the industry
  • Ability to work in a remote environment

Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas.

Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $130,000 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Speak to your recruiter to hear more about the specific salary range for your preferred location.
