We are seeking an Aerospace Systems Electrical Engineer who will provide technical expertise and engineering support for aircraft communication, navigation, secure communications, and cockpit avionics configurations. This role includes evaluating system specifications, conducting electrical analyses and surveys, supporting integration of advanced sensor systems, and preparing required engineering documentation. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities- Review and assess specifications, interface control documents, and avionics system requirements.
- Perform electrical load analysis, antenna surveys, and electromagnetic interference assessments in support of communication, navigation, and secure communication systems.
- Provide technical recommendations for integration of the Degraded Visual Environment Pilotage System (DVEPS).
- Support cockpit configuration evaluations and avionics system compatibility assessments.
Required - ABET accredited degree
- 3 years of related experience
- Experience with aircraft avionics systems including communication, navigation, and secure communications technologies.
- Knowledge of electrical load analysis, EMI/EMC principles, and antenna systems.
- Familiarity with avionics specifications, interface control documents, and system integration processes.
- Ability to analyze complex technical data and produce compliant engineering documentation.
- Demonstrated experience supporting DoW acquisition, engineering programs (military rotary wing of fixed wing platform experience is highly preferred).
- Must have an in-scope Dow Secret security clearance.
