Title:

Aerospace Manufacturing Tool Designer

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, the Engineer independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to support project and operational objectives. This role utilizes sound engineering judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications to established methods and practices. With demonstrated experience in a specific functional area, the Engineer contributes to the design and execution of larger, more complex assignments involving conventional engineering plans, investigations, and surveys. Work performed supports project efficiency, cost containment, operational effectiveness, and overall business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Apply standard engineering principles, techniques, procedures, and criteria to assigned projects and tasks.

  • Independently evaluate engineering problems and recommend practical solutions within established guidelines.

  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, investigations, and assessments to support project requirements.

  • Assist with the design and development of engineering plans, studies, surveys, and technical documentation.

  • Utilize engineering judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications to standard practices and procedures.

  • Support larger and more complex engineering assignments under the guidance of senior engineers or project leads.

  • Review and interpret engineering specifications, standards, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution and deliverables.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and operational performance.

  • Maintain accurate technical records, reports, and project documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, codes, and industry best practices.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
