Full Job Description

The Aerospace CMS Sourcing Project Lead will manage aerospace sourcing projects, ensuring accurate delivery within platform dictated timelines. Responsible for assigning global RFQ, RFI and implementation workload to team members. Coordinates the work of others within the sourcing team and consolidates the outputs into customer responses and implementation data setup. Acts as a liaison to cross-functional teams within the ASC and CMS platforms. This position can reside in the following locations: Alanta, GA, Los Angelos, CA, Oak Creek, WI, Pittsburgh, PA, Seattle, WA, & Canda. PPG runs on a hybrid model, Monday thru Thursday in the office with Friday being an optional day to work remotely.  This position will report to Aerospace Procurement Sourcing Manger. 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads RFQ, RFI and implementation projects to on time and accurate completion
  • Uses data analytics and chemical knowledge for implementation Initial market basket determination & manufacturer assignment.
  • Supports the CMS platform RFQ activity.
  • Communication with Implementation team and platform to get answers to market basket and sourcing questions.
  • Initial implementation data configuration
  • Gathers and presents data to suppliers, internal customers, and other PPG Managers.
  • Distribute implementation and RFQ workload to commodity team
  • Consolidates commodity and tail spend pricing into single market basket or RFQ response
  • Creates data loads for Oracle, HMM & QAD and coordinates submission to the appropriate data teams for load
  • Responds to RFQ through Clientlink
  • Verifies accuracy on all NPRs, RFQs, RFIs and implementation projects
  • Assigns NPR workload to commodity team
  • Assigns Clientlink sourcing tickets to commodity team by commodity
  • Ensures all sourcing work has been completed for implementation projects and RFQs
  • Coordinates with export & EHS teams to ensure that information is complete and accurate in the ERP system and HMM
  • Responsible for training team members
  • Participates in additional corporate projects and teams as required

Qualifications:

  • Prefer 5+ years of direct procurement, supply chain or sourcing experience in a large corporate setting
  • U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply
  • Advanced Excel
  • Data analytics
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including QAD, Oracle, ePro, etc
  • Good project management and communication skills
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking
  • Knowledge of IT tools such as Smartsheets, Jaegger, SAP, PowerBI, SSP, Qstrat, MS Office (Excel, Access), HMM UX, ePro, SharePoint and Intranet is a plus
  • Chemicals sourcing experience a plus
  • Aerospace experience a plus
