In this role you will be supporting Aerothermalanalysis team as an
Aeronautical Engineer - Hypersonic Thermal where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art aerodynamics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
Lead and perform thermal design and analysis tasks within Strategic Re-Entry Programs located in Valley Forge, PA.
Responsible for performing and overseeing thermal analysis and thermal protection design using state-of-the-art thermal tools ncluding 3-dimensional modeling and external aerothermal tools to assess aero heating environments for strategic missile systems, hypersonic vehicles, and related components. Experience developing and performing trade study analyses in conjunction with a conceptual design team is desired. Evaluate heating environments during ascent and reentry, simulate thermal/material response, perform heatshield and insulation sizing, aerothermal ground test planning/execution/analysis, and component thermal analysis. Demonstrated leadership experience in leading design and analysis teams including delegating tasks to more junior engineers and ensuring high qualify results. Experience in clearly and effectively communicating analysis and testing results and conclusions through documentation and presentations to customer at design reviews.

Basic QualificationsBachelor Degree or Higher in an appropriate Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience
Technical background in thermal analysis including 3-dimensional modeling
Active or Current Secret clearance;US citizenship required
Desired SkillsMasters Degree or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
Familiarity with hypersonic reentry vehicle design.
Technical background in missile/reentry aerodynamic and/or thermodynamic analysis.
Technical experience in thermal modeling of thermal protection systems and/or 3D thermal modeling.
Ability to lead and perform in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Current or Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
