Job DescriptionAMCL, a subsidiary of Turner & Townsend, is seeking a
Director to lead market expansion and revenue growth for its advisory business across asset intensive organizations, focusing initially on the East Coast. This role is responsible for initiating, developing, and converting advisory engagements encompassing asset management, program set-up and transformation, capital and investment strategy, and operational performance improvement. The role requires close collaboration with technical and delivery teams to position us as a holistic, long-term advisory partner, capable of solving complex, cross-functional challenges for clients.
Key Responsibilities:Market & Revenue Growth- Develop and execute the business development strategy.
- Build and manage a diversified pipeline across:
- Asset management,
- Program set-up and transformation,
- Capital planning and investment strategy.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, regulatory drivers, and investment trends influencing asset owners and operators.
- Drive cross-selling of services by identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships into broader advisory engagements.
Client Relationship Development & Management- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with:
- Asset Intensive organizations across the public and private sectors,
- Private infrastructure owners, operators and investors (utilities, transportation, transmission and distribution authorities),
- Strategic partners across T&T's overall advisory services.
- Lead business development activities from first contact through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
- Position us as a long-term strategic partner in new sectors and subregions across the East Coast.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior executives, positioning us as an enterprise-level advisory partner, not solely a niche asset management provider.
- Lead business development activities from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, and close across multi-service integrated engagements.
- Originate and shape opportunities that combine multiple service lines into high-value transformation programs.
Solution Development & Proposals- Collaborate with technical leaders to design multidisciplinary solutions addressing client challenges across strategy, capital planning and operations.
- Lead development of high-quality proposals, RFP responses, and presentations that clearly articulate end-to-end advisory value propositions.
- Provide guidance regarding commercial pricing.
- Ensure alignment between client outcomes, delivery capability, and commercial strategy.
Thought Leadership & Brand Presence- Represent us at industry conferences, client forums, and professional associations.
- Develop and promote thought leadership across key themes, including infrastructure strategy and funding, asset management, capital delivery and investment optimization.
Internal Collaboration- Partner with our leaders to align business development with evolving end-to-end advisory offerings.
- Provide structured market feedback to inform new service development and innovation.
- Mentor staff in business development activities, from client engagement to proposal and pricing development.
QualificationsRequired- Existing industry network.
- 15+ years of experience in business development, consulting, or advisory roles within infrastructure, asset management, engineering, or asset-intensive industries.
- Demonstrated success selling complex, multi-service advisory engagements.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure asset management, lifecycle planning, capital investment optimization, program transformation and/or operational performance.
- Proven track record of selling advisory services to senior decision makers.

Additional InformationThe salary range for this full-time role is $190K-$250K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
