Brucejack is one of the highest-grade gold mines in the world - a remote underground operation famously located on top of a glacier in northwestern British Columbia. With a fly-in, fly-out roster and on-site camp, our team works in a truly unique environment, using modern mining methods to safely extract gold and silver from deep beneath the ice. Your Impact

As a Reliability Advisor, Mobile Assets, you will play a key role in improving equipment reliability, performance, and maintenance effectiveness across our surface and underground mobile fleets. Using data-driven insights, failure analysis, and defect elimination strategies, you will influence maintenance, operations, and supply chain decisions that maximize asset performance and reduce operating costs.

As Part of the Team

  • Lead reliability and condition monitoring initiatives, including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Facilitate root cause analyses and drive defect elimination programs.
  • Identify recurring equipment issues and develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with operators, maintainers, planners, and vendors to optimize maintenance strategies.
  • Support criticality assessments, parts optimization, and critical spares planning.
  • Analyze equipment performance data and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide reliability expertise for equipment rebuilds, maintenance planning, and asset strategy development.


Prerequisites

  • Mechanical Engineering background; P.Eng designation preferred.
  • 5+ years of reliability experience in a mining, industrial, or heavy equipment environment.
  • Strong understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
  • Experience working with CMMS systems and maintaining asset data.
  • CMRP or MMP designation is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with mobile equipment fleets is strongly preferred.


Work Environment

  • Fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) camp-based role at Brucejack Mine in northern British Columbia.
  • Work closely with maintenance, operations, supply chain, and corporate teams.
  • Exposure to both surface and underground mobile equipment environments.
  • Collaborative culture focused on safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $85,400 - $113,900.00 + 15% STIP. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
