Full Job Description

The SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) IT Advisor will support Maintenance and Operations teams, owning and supporting SAP PM solutions that enable safe, reliable, and efficient asset management. This role translates business needs into scalable IT solutions, drives continuous process improvements, and ensures seamless integration with related systems while maintaining high data integrity. The advisor provides day-to-day support, resolves system issues, and leads enhancements aligned with business priorities, while enabling users through training, documentation, and analytics for maintenance KPIs. Responsibilities in this role include balancing standardization with site-specific business needs, managing complex integrations across SAP modules and external systems, ensuring consistent master data quality, navigating competing priorities and project demands, and driving user adoption in environments with varying levels of system maturity and change readiness.

Qualifications – SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) IT Advisor
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience supporting SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and integrated modules (e.g., MM, FI, SD)
Strong knowledge of maintenance business processes including work order management, asset lifecycle, preventive maintenance, and reliability practices
Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and drive continuous process improvements
Experience managing and supporting complex integrations across SAP and external systems (e.g., mobility, IoT/telematics, GIS, or third-party applications)
Strong understanding of SAP master data structures with demonstrated ability to maintain high data quality and governance standards
Experience balancing standardized enterprise solutions with site-specific operational needs
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across support, enhancement, and project workstreams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and issue resolution
Experience supporting system deployments, enhancements, and upgrades using structured project methodologies
Proven track record of driving user adoption, training, and change management across varying levels of system maturity
Strong analytical skills with ability to leverage data, reporting, and KPIs to support maintenance performance and decision-making
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to collaborate across IT and business teams
