The key to delivering Alberta's public health system? The People. Health Shared Services (HSS) is seeking people-first, solutions-oriented professionals to join our team as Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Advisors. In this role, you will help ensure the people, resources, and support systems are in place to deliver a high-quality, accessible, and sustainable public health system. As an HRBP Advisor, you will provide expert advice, coordination, and coaching across a broad range of human resources functions. Supporting both unionized and non-unionized clients, you will contribute to activities such as job classification, recruitment, employee development, and retirement planning. Working independently and in collaboration with HR Specialists and Centers of Expertise, you will implement HR processes and provide guidance related to policies, legislation, and collective agreements. Due to ongoing growth and internal career development, we are looking for skilled and motivated Advisors to support teams across Alberta. Opportunities are available in multiple locations throughout the province, offering options for both urban and rural lifestyles. Our HRBP team operates in a hybrid work environment. Successful candidates must be able to attend client sites and ideally reside within their supported region: North-West, North-East, Edmonton, Central, Calgary, South-East, or South-West Alberta. Required Qualifications:

A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. A combination of years of experience and education may be considered

Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in HR generalist duties including performance management, labor relations, policy interpretation, Human Rights Legislation and investigations. A consultative approach to providing HR solutions, working in collaboration with the client to arrive at the best action to take. Ability to both prioritize and multitask working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Effective communicator with strong analytical skills, organizational skills, influential skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Sound decision-making capability, ethical behaviour, and ability to apply appropriate policies, procedures, laws, and guidelines in alignment with organizational vision, mission, and values. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and comfortable managing in ambiguity. Experience in managing projects of various scope and significance. A strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Have a proven track record of fostering and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with team members, operational leaders, HR networks, Centres of Expertise, and Union Representatives.

Preferred Qualifications:
CPHR or other recognized designation is an asset. Human Resources experience ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred. Healthcare and/or union environment experience is an asset.
