DescriptionAs the FMD, you will be responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of the ED, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and strategic alignment with AdventHealth's values and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of emergency physicians and advanced practice clinicians
- Oversee clinical performance, quality metrics, and patient experience initiatives
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure optimal ED operations and integration with hospital services
- Drive innovation, efficiency, and best practices in emergency medicine delivery
- Serve as a mentor and role model for clinical staff and promote a culture of excellence and compassion
Qualifications- Board certified in EM (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical leadership experience in an ED
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, performance improvement, and strategic planning
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
