Advanced Quality Engineer

Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to support new product launches, APQP activities, PPAP submissions, engineering changes, and customer quality requirements in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead APQP activities and PPAP approvals.
  • Support new product launches, prototypes, and engineering changes.
  • Participate in customer meetings and present quality results and action plans.
  • Develop and maintain quality documents, including Process Flows, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
  • Manage checking fixture development and tooling validation.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, IATF 16949, and ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve process capability and product quality.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.

  • Experience supporting product launches and engineering changes.

Preferred:
  • Experience with stamping, welding, assembly, or automotive component manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality systems.
  • Customer-facing quality experience.
  • Core Tools certification or training.
