Full Job Description
As an Advanced Project Engineer in the Sensing Guidance and Navigation (SGN) Center of Excellence (COE), you will work in partnership to develop products that support aircraft navigation systems for defense, air transport, regional, business aviation, and general aviation. These market areas require a wide variety of navigation systems including inertial measurement units, inertial navigation systems, and aided inertial navigation systems.

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate a diverse team to perform technical execution, technical risk management, requirements management for customer missionizations and new products development for Defense Navigation product line
  • Perform customer flow-down requirement analysis, feasibility assessment, technical solution development including but not limited to test strategy and architecture development, test design and development.
  • Manage program's cost, schedule, work breakdown structure, work allocation, planning and coordination
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and their needs
  • Provide technical support and expertise to Customer Business Managers and Technical Sales Director during pursuit of new business to ensure product offerings align with customer requirements
  • Support proposal effort, including development of BOEs
  • Schedule and Milestone development/mgmt.

Qualifications

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

  • 4 plus years of experience in design engineering or project leadership
