Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm; 9:00am-5:30pm. On call one week per month, including a Saturday and Sunday. On-call hours: 5pm-8am on a weekday. 24 hours on the weekend.
Salary: $150,000 - $164,800 / year
Responsibilities:The NP will practice in collaboration with physicians in the Addiction Treatment Services/Psychiatry department as direct healthcare providers to provide care throughout the Crouse Health system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting psychiatry and addiction psychiatry assessments and mental status examinations, formulating appropriate diagnoses, medication management, executing treatment plans in collaboration with health care teams, coordinating care delivery including making referrals to outside facilities, assessing discharge readiness and providing detailed education and care instruction to support continuity of care.
The NP will provide care to patients across the Addiction Treatment Services and Psychiatry departments, including patients seen in outpatient and inpatient addiction treatment programs as well as hospital-based psychiatric consultation-liaison services.
Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements:- Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Current ANCC Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- DEA Licensing in good standing or eligible for registration
- Minimum of two (2) years RN experience in Addiction Treatment Services, Internal or Acute Care Medicine
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing or its direct equivalent
- BLS/ACLS certification required or completion within 1 month of start date.
