Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or equivalent PA program degree
  • Board Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health
  • Current valid state medical license
  • DEA License
  • Experience in outpatient mental health care with strong telehealth capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to patients with psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting
  • Conduct both telehealth and on-site patient visits in a balanced 50/50 load
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including primary care and behavioral health specialists
  • Support the practice with the help of Medical Assistants and Patient Coordinators
  • Manage a diverse patient caseload under no weekends or on-call requirements

Full Job Description

Description:

• Outpatient Monday to Friday 40 hrs per week (8am-5pm) position with no on call or weekend hours

• Supported by Medical Assistants and Patient Coordinators

• Includes patients with psychiatric conditions, commercially insured

• Work in integrated system with practitioners in primary care, neurology, addiction, MAT, interventional psychiatry, child psychiatry and over 60 behavioral therapists

• Patient load includes 50% telehealth and 50% on site visits

 

Qualifications

Experience, Education and Licensure:

• Master of Science in Nursing -Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certification or equivalent PA program degree

• Current valid state medical license

• DEA License
