Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a growing neurology program in Chicago. This employed position offers a blend of

Responsibilities- Conduct patient evaluations, neurological assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide inpatient consultations, follow-up care, and discharge support
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging, laboratory testing, and EEGs
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
- Current Illinois APRN/RN license or Illinois Physician Assistant license
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Neurology experience preferred; candidates with strong Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or related experience are encouraged to apply
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
