How You'll Make an Impact - Lead the research, design, and industrialization of novel manufacturing and repair processes for critical gas turbine components, including blades and vanes.
- Investigate and pilot emerging technologies such as adaptive machining, robotics, and advanced tooling to enhance production capabilities.
- Analyze manufacturing systems using methodologies like Value Stream Mapping to identify waste and improve throughput.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Serve as the subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and managing operational plans for process development initiatives.
What You Bring - A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, focusing on process development and R&D.
- Proven experience leading complex technical projects and acting as a subject matter expert in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with gas turbine components or high-value industrial equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams effectively.
