Description & Requirements

We are excited to adding an advanced analyst to our Battlefield Analytics team. You will lead critical insights about our players, their motivations, to inform critical decisions about economy and monetization in Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC.

You will use your expertise in analytics to power in-game decisions and lead insights to improve store performance, offer composition and Battle-Pass performance. You will report directly to the Director of Battlefield Analytics and be a part of a future focused analytics organization.

Responsibilities:
  • You will use your expertise in analytics to analyze high volumes of data to gain insight into Battlefield player behavior to propose recommendations for in-game economy decisions and optimization strategies.
  • Design monetization experiments and build visualizations to monitor and to better understand changes in important product metrics, focused on in-game economy
  • Develop dashboards and self-serve tools to communicate findings and performance metrics to our partners and encourage the use of data in product decisions
  • Support teammates in Product and Design and apply soft skills to communicate complex information into top quality insights that inform decision-making

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years experience in Analytics/Data Science or a combination of Master's and Ph.D in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
  • 6+ years of professional experience manipulating data sets, analyzing consumer behaviors, building statistical models with a demonstrated experience applying analytical or data science methodologies to real-world problems
  • Strong track record of translating complex models, analyses and data points into clear and succinct insights with partners that enables them to make decisions
  • Experience with SQL/BI tools a big plus (R, Python, Snowflake, or Looker)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$114,300 - $156,200 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
