Mosaic Life Care is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team in St. Joseph, Missouri. Our Urgent Care providers practice in a fast-paced environment offering a blend of primary care, urgent care, and emergent care services while working alongside a collaborative team of physicians, APPs, nurses, paramedics, CMAs, and patient care representatives. Responsibilities Position Highlights: • Flexible schedule with 10-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends • 100% outpatient practice with no call responsibilities • Average patient volume of 15-35 patients per shift • Opportunity to perform procedures including suturing and incision & drainage • On-site X-ray, EKG, point-of-care lab testing, and in-house COVID, Flu, and RSV testing capabilities • Collaborative physician support during orientation and beyond • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package APP Requirements: • Master's Degree required • Current Missouri license preferred or ability to obtain licensure • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications • Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant • Previous experience in Emergency Medicine, ICU, or Urgent Care preferred Additional Qualifications: • Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals • Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated • Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families and members of the health care team
