Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS)Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing Services in day-to-day administrative functions
• Makewritten or oral reports to necessary personnel
• Monitorand maintain the infection control procedures and policies of the facility
• Participatein the developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling of staff developmentclasses, training, and orientation
• Reviewand revise care plans and assessments
• Makerounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing servicepersonnel are performing their work duties
• Monitorabsenteeism to maintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel
• Maintaina liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc.
Assistant Director of Nursing Services Requirements- Valid NYS RN license
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations that pertain to long-term care
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Preferred• Previousexperience in long-term care
• Previousexperience with Point Click Care
