Starting Compensation:

140,000 - 150,000 USD Per Year

Irvine, CA USA

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Including On0Call)



What you bring to SBHG:

Education:

  • Bachelor0degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or equivalent related field required

  • Master's degree preferred.

Licensure:

  • Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy.

  • Meets agency driver eligibility criteria

Experience:

  • Four (4) years supervisory experience in a health care setting required.

  • Experience with mentally ill clients preferred.

How you will make a difference:

The Administrator is responsible for all administrative tasks, including creating and updating policy and procedures, reviewing risk management and safety systems, and overseeing and coordinating quality assurance and utilization review activities. The Administrator supervises all departments (billing, facility, medical records) to direct and facilitate regulatory compliance, and system analyses and reviews. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining positive liaison with the County and all members of the public as well as establishing positive community relations and contracting for needed services. Manages the overall day-to-day operation of the facility

Division/Program Overview:

Program:

The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a place where people experiencing a mental health crisis can go to be stabilized. These facilities operate 24/7 to provide crisis stabilization.

Population Served: Up to 16 adults (ages 18 and up) and 4 adolescents (ages 13 to 17).

Facility & Setting: Can be compared to an Urgent Care Center where people often go for a medical emergency instead of going to the hospital ER. Patients may stay up to 23 hours.

Clinical Services: Provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization. Designed to prevent psychiatric hospitalizations.

Length of Stay: stay of up to 23 hours

Skills & Transition: The CSU will help clients to stabilize and will also provide referrals to other needed services. Transportation is provided as needed.
