What you bring to SBHG (qualifications)
: Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or equivalent related field required, or
- Master's degree in a Mental Health Field; Licensed as MFCC, LCSW or Ph.D. Psychologist preferred.
- Three (3) years' experience in a Senior Manager position (e.g. Program Director, Center Director, Executive Director, etc.) required.
- Senior Leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with mentally ill children, adolescents and/or adult required.
License or Certification
- Licensed as LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psy.D. preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License required.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
The Administrator manages the overall day-to-day operation of designated Community Services programs and their respective facilities, assuring compliance with Federal, State, County and local laws and regulations. He/she oversees facilities, and Directors who directly manage these programs or provides direct management in their absence. He/she assures that there are comprehensive quality treatment programs and services for all clients and reviews and approves all policies and procedures of the program. The Administrator represents Star View and their programs to governmental agencies, the Board of Directors, and the community. The Administrator assures the program is operated with fidelity to the evidence based practices including Wraparound, PCIT, TFCBT, MAT and others. He/she assists the Regional Administrator in development of new programs in Southern California
Division/Program Overview: - Community Based programs.
- Provides programs for children, adolescents, and transitional age youth (TAY) with Mental Health services.
- An experienced staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, mental health therapist / Clinician, parent partners, and other counselors
- Provide case management, mental health care, and a range of support services in schools, homes or other community settings.
- Partner with family members, school administrators and faculty, county social workers, case managers, probation officers, and other agencies.
- Utilize Evidence Based Practice (EBP) to ensure clients make positive changes in their life.
