Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (Data Analytics Lead) in the Comptroller Department (01), Budget Division (011), Corporate Budget Branch (0111) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.

The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322).

Duties

Help

  • You will collaborate with multiple Warfare Center sites, Headquarters, and other activities - including the Navy ERP Business Office (NEBO), the Warfare Center Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW/EDC) team, and DON Financial Management and Systems (FMS).
  • You will develop, implement, and automate strategic financial processes, reporting requirements, and dynamic dashboards.
  • You will partner with accounting, budget, employee services, and audit teams to perform data integrity reviews, identify discrepancies, provide recommendations for corrective actions, and improve system and process performance.
  • You will analyze financial trends and anomalies, develop predictive and statistical models to support forecasting and decision making.
  • You will interpret policy impact on financial systems, and design functional requirements for new or enhanced automated solutions.
  • You will communicate complex technical and financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, develop data visualizations and dashboards to support executive decision-making.
  • You will recommend strategic courses of action to senior leadership, and provide validated reports, procedures, methods, and desk guides to ensure command-wide alignment and effective financial management.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical expertise on the analysis, development, and implementation of financial processes and dashboards to support executive decision-making, using data analytics to resolve discrepancies or support executive decision-making.
