Full Job Description
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Department (WX), Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Division (WXS), Product Support Branch (WXSN) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370). Duties Help • You will serve as the Fleet Support Team (FST) Integrated Product Support (IPS) Lead for the ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS) within the AEA Systems Division's (AEASD) Product Support Branch. • You will lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of complex issues associated with the acquisition, fielding, operations, and sustainment of Naval Aviation weapons systems. • You will develop Product Support and Logistics inputs for Program Objective Memorandums (POMs), internal budgets, and resource estimates to accomplish all product support tasking. • You will collaborate with Program Office Product Support leadership (Product Support Manager [PSM], Assistant Program Managers for Logistics [APMLs], Deputy APMLs [DAPMLs]) and other functional area Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and leadership. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes. • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating and evaluating integrated logistics support (ILS) data and acquisition requirements for electronic weapon systems or warfare equipment to modify or develop plans to support and reduce life cycle costs and improve technical activities for the operational readiness of systems. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
