Job DescriptionManages and oversee unit operational functions, human resource management, special projects, and process redesign. Coordinates project teams to ensure quality implementations within established timelines. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing, education, leadership, or other healthcare related field
- Minimum 1 year of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting
- Pediatric experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Certification Summary
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment or upon start of clinical shift if working in the Emergency Department (ED)
- Professional Nursing certification deemed by department required upon one year of hire

- Must have excellent written and verbal skills
- Demonstrates the ability to organize workloads and resources
- Has strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and productively with a variety of personnel within the hospital, including administrative and executive staff
