Reporting directly to the CEO and/or COO, the Administrator Director Operations administers, directs and coordinates all activities to ensure the ongoing and effective operations of the hospital under their responsibility.

- Oversees the implementation of Franciscan Alliance philosophies in discharging both internal and external responsibilities.
- Serves as a champion for coworker engagement and developing a high performing organization; provides input on organization-wide talent management initiatives, oversees division-specific strategic human resources plan, and participates in the selection of critical positions.
- Works closely with all other members of the Regional Management team and committees; coordinates the development and maintenance of relationships with government health and welfare agencies, associates for medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, and with hospitals and other healthcare organizations at local, state, and national levels.
- Advocates for the best quality of patient care; ensures Franciscan Alliance quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Directs the preparation of the annual budget for the respective division; manages budgets and costs through the responsible use of planning and control systems, which include taking into consideration forecast levels of operations, cost-effective utilization of resources and realistic financial variances.
- Facilitates and reinforces, through business processes and performance measures, a mindset for excellence in order to reduce unnecessary variations, improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs.
- Initiates and sponsors the development and implementation of quality improvement projects that enhance application and systems cost efficiency, coworker productivity and service to those we are privileged to serve; identifies and implements new programs or services in the areas of needs or interest to stakeholders, which enhance available services and financial viability.
- Meets with the members of the community, physician leaders, healthcare organizations or federal/state/region officials on matters of mutual concern. and to address community needs; promotes a better understanding of Franciscan Alliance programs and services.
- Implementation of a hospital planning process consistent with established guidelines for both long-range and operational planning; formulates statements of goals and objectives of the hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business or Related Required
- 3 Years of Progressive Healthcare Leadership Required
- Director Level Experience in Healthcare Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
