Qualifications

  • Current AZ RN and APRN license if applying as a Nurse Practitioner, or current PA certification by NCCPA for Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a supportive team environment in the Cellular Therapy Clinic and inpatient BMT unit.
  • Perform patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to hematology patients.
  • Administer treatments and monitor patient responses throughout the care continuum.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within clinical operations.

Position Highlights:
  • Integral role in both the Cellular Therapy Clinic and inpatient BMT unit
  • 12 hour daytime shifts
  • Rotational schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Potential future rotation to outpatient clinic or night coverage (not currently required)
  • Supportive team environment with strong collaboration and camaraderie

Qualifications

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as an ACNP.

Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Preferred Hematology APP experience and/or fellowship, new grads with RN or clinical Hematology exp can be considered.
  • Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required.
