Actuarial Advisor - Auto and Home Pricing

iA Auto and Home Insurance (iAAH) is a growing organization committed to offering reliable property and casualty insurance products tailored to the needs of its clients. We are currently seeking an Actuarial Advisor - Auto and Home Pricing to join one of our two pricing teams (Segmentation and Strategic Intelligence).

You will play a key role in developing pricing strategies and actuarial analyses that support the organization's competitiveness and profitable growth. You will be involved in a wide range of mandates, taking a holistic view while collaborating with various teams. This versatility will allow you to contribute to multiple initiatives and have a tangible impact on business decisions.

What you'll accomplish with us

As an Actuarial Advisor - Auto and Home Pricing, you'll be at the heart of our mission.
Here are the main responsibilities:

• Perform complex actuarial analyses in auto and home insurance to support decisions related to rate changes, customer segmentation, and model optimization;
• Act as a trusted advisor in monitoring performance indicators to guide strategic decisions based on market trends;
• Develop and present pricing recommendations to senior management, integrating claims experience analysis, competitiveness considerations, and business objectives;
• Drive innovation in risk segmentation approaches and contribute to the evolution of actuarial methodologies;
• Actively participate in identifying and integrating new data sources and explanatory variables to enhance actuarial practices;
• Leverage advanced modeling techniques and data processing methods to support pricing strategy optimization initiatives;
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives influencing product development and the improvement of internal processes;
• Provide mentorship to actuarial analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development;
• Serve as a representative of the actuarial function on committees and multidisciplinary teams.

• Has 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial science within the property and casualty insurance industry;
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science;
• A FCAS or FCIA designation is considered an asset.
