Job Summary
The Actimize Technical Consultant will provide hands-on technical expertise supporting the NICE Actimize platform during a multi-module implementation. The role will focus on platform support, data validation, troubleshooting, integrations, configuration, incident resolution, and production support. The consultant will work closely with IT teams, implementation partners, data teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to identify root causes, resolve technical issues, and support successful implementation of multiple Actimize modules.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in release planning and change management activities as enhancements are introduced into the platform.
• Serve as a technical resource supporting the NICE Actimize platform during multi-module implementations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot inbound and outbound data feeds into Actimize.
• Investigate data load failures, processing delays, integration errors, and system inconsistencies.
• Perform root cause analysis when jobs complete successfully from a system perspective but fail to produce expected business outcomes.
• Review application logs, job schedules, error messages, and underlying data structures to resolve production issues.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate source data, reconcile records, and troubleshoot transaction processing issues.
• Support deployment and configuration activities for new Actimize modules.
• Partner with implementation vendors and internal stakeholders to identify configuration gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Validate interfaces between Actimize and upstream/downstream banking systems.
• Triage incidents and prioritize resolution efforts across multiple workstreams.
• Assist with system testing, defect resolution, and post-deployment support activities.
• Document recurring issues, operational procedures, and technical findings to improve support maturity.
• Accelerate Actimize implementation timelines by providing hands-on technical expertise.
• Reduce production incidents related to data ingestion and processing.
• Proactively identify configuration and integration gaps before they impact business operations.
• Improve visibility into Actimize processing failures and exception handling.
• Ensure data loaded into Actimize is accurate, complete, and available for downstream workflows.
• Support successful implementation of multiple Actimize modules throughout the engagement.
• Act as a technical liaison between IT, implementation partners, and business teams.
• Create sustainable operational processes and documentation for long-term platform support.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience supporting NICE Actimize in a technical capacity.
• Experience supporting one or more NICE Actimize modules, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM), Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR), Watch List eXchange (WLX) Transaction Screening, or Watch List eXchange (WLX) Name Screening.
• Experience supporting Actimize implementations, upgrades, or production environments.
• Strong SQL experience with the ability to analyze large datasets, validate data loads, troubleshoot integration issues, and perform reconciliation activities.
• Experience investigating application failures and conducting root cause analysis.
• Understanding of ETL processes and enterprise data flows.
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured financial data.
• Experience with the NICE Actimize Platform.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ETL/Data Integration tools.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with shell scripting.
• Experience with data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience working with application logs and monitoring tools.
• Experience with API and file-based integrations.
• Experience with batch processing frameworks.
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience supporting large banking or financial services organizations.
• Experience working within AML, fraud, or financial crimes technology environments.
• Familiarity with Informatica, Control-M, Autosys, Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Understanding of banking transaction lifecycles and customer data domains.
• Experience supporting end-to-end enterprise software implementations.
• Experience independently investigating Actimize technical issues without requiring vendor escalation.
• Understanding of both Actimize application configuration and underlying data structures.
• Ability to work hands-on with SQL, logs, integrations, and system configurations.
• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
