Job Overview

Job Title: Acquisition Lead

Location: Tampa, FL

Job Responsibilities

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Acquisition Lead to lead Acquisition Management for the C2ISR Transport effort under Eagle-I contract onsite in Tampa, FL.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Drafts/reviews PWS/SOW, IGCEs, QASPs, checklists, and matrices; ensures FAR/DFARS and SOCOM policy compliance
  • Owns acquisition strategy and planning; drives market research, RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, evaluation criteria, and source selections
  • Coordinates with Engineering to translate technical requirements, assesses facility/operational impacts, and standardizes SLAs/MOAs.
  • Partners with Contracts/Subcontracts on negotiations, awards, mods, and vendor performance; maintains schedules, dashboards, and status reports from requisition through delivery/integration.
  • Support the PM on contract, project, and task order delivery to include profitability, revenue growth and financial performance.
  • Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Implement and maintain a process that ensures problems and action items discussed with the Government are tracked through resolution. Provide timely status reporting and results of contractor actions taken to improve performance.
  • Asissit with identifying potential cost reduction/mitigation initiatives, efficiencies, and process improvements on a continuing basis and address their progress during Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
  • Work closely with, and in support of other internal organizations, including engineering, finance, contracts/subcontracts, business development, purchasing, and recruiting.
  • Assure that all government regulatory guidance and corporate procedures are adhered to across multiple programs and will also work closely with customers and internal corporate resources to ensure the proper execution in all areas of service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • A minimum of five years of acquisition experience (within the past ten years) of managing DoD Service-specific and/or Joint-Service of similar scope and complexity including at least one project involving intelligence or special operations support element.

Desired Qualification

  • Possess a minimum of five years of technical proposal analysis experience managing a diverse client base.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree in Acquisition and Contract Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
