Overview

R&P is looking for a Shipbuiding Acquisition / Contracts Analyst who wants to join our team supporting PMS 410. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Acquisition, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a motivated and detail-oriented analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general acquisition and contracts management support.
  • Provide cost analysis of shipbuilding progress based on EACs, burn rates, and EVM data
  • Assists program office with providing detail-oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies
  • Track procurement milestones and acquisition schedules
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technical and programmatic risk
  • Provides support on procurement policies, regulations, and procedures that result in cost savings for the Government.
  • Assist in the preparation of program/portfolio review documentation and other recurring meetings/briefs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years relevant experience in contract/financial management
  • Experience in DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) and U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills
  • Experience developing SES and Flag level briefs
  • Experience with DoD contracts (desired)
  • Active Secret clearance
Salary
